     PERRY PLUMMER

     Co-Director

Coach Plummer has an extensive background in hockey coaching and player development and has established himself as an accomplished leader in the state.  Over the past 30 years Coach Plummer has mentored some of the best athletes in New Hampshire and remains steadfast in developing the Seacoast hockey community through player development and setting a good example - both on and off the ice. During this long career he has had the opportunity to coach and help develop a number of players that went on to play college at the Division 1, 2 and 3 levels.   He specializes in teaching the game and developing youth hockey players ranging from 6 – 21.  His unique methods and his innate ability to teach, whether it is one on one or in a small group sets him apart. Coach Plummer has spent 10 years working numerous hockey camps spanning over three states.

 

  • Head Coach St Thomas Aquinas High School – Division 1 Coach – 16+ years

  • Coached a number of Tier 1 youth teams to State, and NE Regional Championships.

  • Skill Director and on ice practice coach for the Seacoast Spartans. – 4 years

  • NH High School Hockey Coaches Association President – 6 years

  • NH High School Hockey Division 1 Coach of the Year

  • Foster’s Daily Democrat High School Hockey Coach of the Year

  • NH High School All Star game Coach – 3 years

  • NH High School Make a Wish Game Coach. – 2years

CHRIS PLUMMER        Co-Director

Chris grew up on the Seacoast and played his youth hockey for the Seacoast Spartans and Dover Youth Hockey. While playing youth hockey Chris was selected to the New Hampshire Select team for ages 12,14,15,16,and 17. Chris was also a member of  6 Tier 1 NH State Championship Teams while playing youth hockey. In 2001 Chris played for the Seacoast Midgets who was one of 12 teams across the country to go on to the National Tournament in Colorado Springs, CO.

 

He continued his playing career playing 3 years of hockey at St. Thomas Aquinas. As a junior at St. Thomas Chris tied for the NH Division 1 regular season scoring title and was also the first player to break the 50 point mark in a single season since St. Thomas petitioned to be Division 1. Chris was selected as a Captain his senior year.

 While at St. Thomas he received the following accolades;1st team All-State 2002, 2001 and 2002 Foster’s Daily Democrat Dream Team, 2001 Portsmouth Herald Winter Athlete of the Year, 2nd player in St. Thomas history to become member of 100 point club, and 2002 Make A Wish All Star Game MVP.

 

After a successful high school career, Chris moved on to play junior hockey with the Laconia Leafs. Chris was selected as the captain of the team and help lead them to a league championship. The team attended the National Championship Tournament in Minnesota. Chris lead the IJHL in scoring as a defensemen. After junior’s Chris moved on and played college hockey at Salem State College.

 

Chris started his coaching career after college in 2005. Chris was an assistant coach with the  Salem Ice Dogs, a junior hockey team. Chris accepted role of head coach at St. Thomas Aquinas in 2006. Chris coached St. Thomas for 3 years where in his first year he was selected as the NH Division 1 Coach of the Year.  After leaving St. Thomas, Chris came back to coaching at the youth hockey level where he is still currently coaching.
